Kingsbridge Expansion Continues

New Kingsbridge Office

We all grow up (eventually). There comes a time when we have to move on to bigger and better things. Since we formed Kingsbridge in 2001 we’ve grown year on year. We’ve moved from a small barn in the middle of the countryside to having offices in several major UK cities. We opened our first London hub earlier this year. But we still haven’t finished.

Regular readers of the Kingsbridge blog will probably know that we’re a little tight for space in our Tewkesbury HQ. The daily battle for parking spaces continues, and the queues for the toilets would make Alton Towers wince (we’re joking – slightly.) As much as we like each other, everyone would agree that a little more space is needed. Unfortunately, we’ve been so busy that we haven’t had the chance to cast our net further afield. We’re pleased to announce that’s no longer the case.

Within the next couple of weeks we’ll be doubling the size of our home base. We’re expanding our Miller Court address to take in the building next door. It’ll give us all the room we need to give our staff some proper space, as well as giving us the capacity to continue our growth going forward. We’ll continue with the fluid, hotdesking working environment we’ve established in our current office, and we’ll finally be able to give our staff more areas to break out, chat, and relax. There’ll even be a shower room.

Unless you’re an avid fan of empty office units there’s not much to see yet, but we’ll be sure to do a follow up blog post in April so you can see our new surroundings in all their glory. It’s a big year for us – not only are we growing in size, but we’ll be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kingsbridge Contractor Insurance in the summer. We’re looking forward to seeing in that momentous occasion in our new, expanded home.
